About CAIR Institute
Advancing Collective Intelligence for Complex Decision Environments
The CAIR Institute develops and applies methods to understand and improve how decisions are made in complex systems—across organizations, policy contexts, and research environments.
Our work focuses on collective intelligence and AI, with the goal of transforming fragmented knowledge, diverse perspectives, and qualitative data into structured insight and actionable decision models.
Our Mission
The CAIR Institute is a research and analysis partner operating at the intersection of collective intelligence, artificial intelligence, and system thinking.
Our mission is to:
- make complex situations transparent and analyzable
- improve collective decision-making across stakeholders
- support the design of strategies, policies, and transformation processes
We develop and apply approaches such as Inference Dynamics, supported by AI systems like Stratify, to enable organizations to move from complexity to structured decision-making.
What We Do
We work with organizations and institutions to:
- analyze complex problem landscapes and stakeholder environments
- structure qualitative data and communication processes
- identify patterns, assumptions, and system dynamics
- support the development of strategies, policies, and interventions
Our approach combines scientific rigor with practical application, enabling both deep insight and operational relevance.
Our Team and Network
The CAIR Institute brings together a network of researchers, experts, and collaborators with backgrounds in:
- information systems and management research
- systems thinking and cybernetics
- artificial intelligence and qualitative analysis
- organizational and policy research
Our team combines academic excellence with experience in applied research and real-world projects.
We operate as a distributed, cross-disciplinary network, allowing us to assemble the right expertise for each collaboration.
